Keeping the Rillstead Neighbourhood Supper Going

Rillstead Neighbourhood House runs a monthly supper open to everyone. Its grant will be smaller next year, and volunteers cannot take on extra fundraising. The director is surveying diners and volunteers. One proposal is to serve a free supper every second month, with funding secured for that schedule. The other is to keep monthly suppers and request optional contributions, although uncertain contributions would make costs harder to predict. Some diners value knowing meals are free; others value the regular chance to meet neighbours.
