Keep Absent Reading-Circle Members Involved Without Recording Everyone

You belong to the Lantern Grove Reading Circle. Several members who work evening shifts have asked for recordings when they miss discussions. Two regular attendees have said they would speak less freely if recorded because discussions sometimes include personal experiences. Mira Deslauriers, the circle’s facilitator, plans to decide on Friday whether to record future meetings. Written summaries are another possibility, although they would miss some of the debate and require volunteer time. You could spend fifteen minutes preparing notes after each meeting you attend, but cannot take responsibility every week.
