Bringing More Residents to a Repair Afternoon
Your coworker Petra helped launch a free community repair afternoon in the curling rink lobby in Quillpass, Northwest Territories. Volunteers mend clothing and bags and make simple repairs to small household items so residents can keep using them instead of throwing them away. Only three residents attended the first event. The next one is in two weeks, and there is very little money for advertising. Petra feels discouraged and asks you how to attract more residents.
