Keeping Your Dog’s Feeding Rules
Your aunt Beatrice is staying at your house in Gannet Cove, a coastal community in New Brunswick, for a week. Your dog, Pip, has a feeding plan prescribed by his veterinarian: only his approved food, in measured daily amounts. You explained this when Beatrice arrived, but you have twice seen her giving Pip scraps while clearing the supper table. She says that sharing food is how she shows affection and that you are being too strict. You want to enjoy her visit, but you need her to follow Pip’s feeding rules.
