Asking for Privacy at the Clinic

You are checking in for an appointment at Ruisseval Health Clinic in Quebec's Eastern Townships. Anaïs, the receptionist, reads the reason for your visit aloud and starts asking questions about your health. Several people in the waiting room can hear her, and you feel uncomfortable. The remaining questions could be answered on the clinic's paper form. Hugo, the reception coordinator, is nearby and can arrange access to an available private office. You want to complete your check-in without sharing more personal information within earshot of other patients.
