Cleaning After Clocking Out
You work at Tidefold Stationery in Bellhaven Bay, a coastal town in British Columbia. Your shift ends when the shop closes at 6:00 p.m. Your manager, Denise, regularly asks you to clock out and then spend another fifteen minutes sweeping the floor and wiping the counters. This time is unpaid. Denise wants the shop ready for the morning staff, but customers often need help right until closing. You want to help with cleaning while making sure all your working time is paid.
