A Quiet Car on the Northern Pine Line
North Pine Transit runs a passenger train between the fictional Ontario communities of Bellmere and Cedar Crossing. The trip takes about two hours, and passengers currently choose any available seat. The transit board is considering making one train car a quiet car, where phone calls, videos without headphones, and loud conversations would not be allowed. Some passengers say this would make the journey more comfortable, while others think the same rules should apply in every car.
